Apparently, it has now just been sold, 50% of the staff will be cut, the site will focus on music in the future, and from being bought for $580 000 000,00 in 2005, it has been sold for a mere $35 000 000,00 in 2011. It is a reminder how, something that seems so big now, that could not possibly ever be overtaken (like Facebook, for example) can end fairly quickly
