I have written about HD TV before, and basically said that I am surprised that anybody, after experiencing HD, can continue to watch normal channels. It is great news that they have added on new HD channels, but with DSTV having changed all the channel numbers, it is going to take some time to find them!
All the sports channels which were located at 171, 174, etc have moved on to 211 and so on, but the advantage is that you now have four channels showing sport in HD, which is really the only way to watch sport and a total of eight channels showing movies in HD, and that is apart from the Universal channel, the Studio channel and Discovery. It really makes sense, for those who have not made the change yet, to move on to an HD PVR at this time.

I love the HD , glad they incorporating these channels. I have to agree with Robyn , I dont find the channels changing that bad at all as I press the left or right arrows and have all the chanels infront of me.

DSTV changing its channels is so annoying! Like I dont get why the one music channel is seperated from the rest and yesterday it took a while to figure out where the news channels are! I dont really watch much TV so wouldn't change to HD just yet :-)

It's not such a big deal with the channels changing, they're all there for you to choose from a list if you press the left or right arrows on your remote and you'll get used to is very quickly. More HD channels for the win!

while the channel changes are a little irritating, it is extremely exciting to have many more HD channels. I recently purchased a 46" HD TV, and HD PVR decoder. It'll all be connected when i move into my new house on 1 November. Cannot wait!!!
