We lost another member of staff this week, when one of our drivers, Abey Segooga, passed away after a sudden illness. I wish all the other drivers I employ could be like Abey, who was not only totally honest, but also always smiling, positive and with wonderful approach to life.
He had fantastic manners, he always stop to find out about my family and my children and whenever time he told me he wanted to retire, I told him that my Gran died within six months of retiring, and retiring worries me! I I told him that I didn’t think the government pension was a great thing to live on, and as long as he had the energy to keep working, he was welcome to stay at the firm. One could never be in bad mood speaking to Abey and in that way we could all certainly learn from him.
Rest in peace Abey, you were a good man and you will be missed.

Abey was a great man. He was always friendly and definately someone that could inspire the other drivers. Even the secretary at the department of transport almost fainted when hearing about the tradgedy of Abey. She also believed he was a great man.

Abey was a wonderful person to work with. It is true, always smiling and always ready to help without any problems. I will always remember the day Abey was presented with the money the staff collected for his special birthday and his words were, "now I will buy a tv", the smile that reached from ear to ear will always hold a place in my heart. Rest in Peace Abey.

Didn't know Abey for long, but he was a very cheerful guy. Was always smiling and always greeted a person. Surely put a smile on everyone's face to see someone so cheerful like that. RIP Abey.

What a terrible shock. we used to joke with Abey that he would live way past 100 years because he was so happy and healthy, full of energy man. Abey taught me to drive and gave me one of the most valuable pieces of advice about bringing up children. He used to dance in church the way 30 year old people could not dance. He looked after his beautiful granddaughters and they are beautiful girls who will miss their granfather terribly. Abey was always honest , kind, family man.rest in peace Abey .

A Pearl in his own right. Never moody, never rude and never unpleasant. He enjoyed his work and was loyal to his employer. We will always remember his friendly demeanour and positive outlook on life.

I am going to miss Abey tremendously. He was always so friendly, helpful and had a fantastic sense of humour. We got on well and he invited me to his son's wedding. I am really going to miss him. I remember about 2 years ago I asked him if he would prefer to have an office job or if he is alright still driving and he said he loved driving, it was the perfect job for him. Then a few weeks ago he started feeling a bit ill. He told me he has changed his diet and his wife is making him eat healthy. I was hoping he would recover but heaven has another angel now. Rest in peace Abey, you were the best

There are not enough good words to say about Abey! Every single morning without fail he would walk into my office shouting Good Morning, how are the ladies this morning! Even if you were in a bad mood you would instantly be infected with his happiness and positive attitude! He would always ask is this all the work, come on ladies give me more! I never had to check up on him because he was always honest and hardworking! Every year he would say the next year he will retire and never did he! A man with many funny stories and full of life! He certainly lived and I would not believe there is a single person who could say anything bad about him! I will miss his hugs the most! R.I.P to a man who has personally made an impact on my life! He will not be easily forgotten! My heart goes out to his family!
