Favourite websites

This is your opportunity to tell me what your favourite websites are, what you either find most interesting or most useful.  What would you look at in the evening or in your lunch break?  You can exclude dating sites, because nobody is going to own up about that but otherwise it will be fascinating to hear!  I find that the websites that are opened the most are the New York Times, PGAtour.com and a share broking account.  That is excluding the site that is opened more than any other, which is my firm’s own E-file website.  What do you look at the most?

Most of the time I am on Stumbleupon. It allows me to choose various interests and then kicks out various pages on those topics. it can keep me busy for hours.

@Angelique - Thanx Ange, think you're at least on the same mental level than the minority of our kind... But then looking at it from another point of view... jip, I don't quit... sorry *cheesy smile* - Why would one go "Googling" for a web site every time if all browsers have that nifty little gadget called "BOOKMARKS/FAVORITES"??? Google still doesn't have a notch in my post unfortunately, just for locating specified required SEARCHES... if you know where you want to navigate to... hopefully... you should already be aware of the web site addy... might be that I'm floating outside the realm of "The Norm" then... hahahahaha

Ouch at Skye's comment. I enjoy facebook, instagram, pricecheck, and news24 just to name a few. I must admit there aren't many websites that I would say are my favourite - If I am looking for something I would much rather google, like everyone else than type in a website. Guess moral of the story: If you want people to go on your website, figure out how to make it on google page as most people google than type in websites.

All right... Google is a "Search Engine" and not a "Web Site" for the people that might be struggling to distinguish the differences... here's the low down: a "Web Site" (e.g: www.accidentclaim.co.za) which is a location connected to the Internet that maintains one or more web pages, a "Search Engine" (e.g: www.google.co.za) is a web based program that searches for and identifies items in a database that correspond to keywords or characters specified by the user, used especially for finding particular web sites on the Internet. Now go and re-think your favorite WEB SITE a bit... Mine I must admit is a bit of a hash between News24, IMDB, Pinterest, OLX and unfortunately judged by my browsing history my Nedbank Internet Banking...

Google is an obvious choice as it is basically the mother-ship of all networks. So to be specific, I enjoy News 24 and You Tube. I know i have to keep up with what is happening in our country and ultimately, in the world, and so after reading up on that, i need a good laugh or some form of motivation on You Tube. Other than that, i don't really surf much on the internet.

At the moment I'm completely obsessed with Tedtalks. Basically if you google Tedtalks, it sends you to links of talks by motivational or inspirational speakers from talks on relationships to business skills you can't go wrong.

I enjoy Youtube for funny videos and informative videos. The Vsauce series on Youtube is great. I love that you can learn anything on Youtube from how to use a computer programme to learning more about history.

I also enjoy Pinterest. Its a site which always gets me so inspired. It gives my mind a great break. You can choose your interests and find ideas for anything.

I have a few blogs which I also read often, mostly about travelling, and living a balanced lifestyle.
