The Champions League Final takes place on Saturday in Lisbon, Portugal between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in Barcelona. It is a huge football match, particularly with the World Cup ahead. The tournament has one of the fairest formats, with teams playing each other at home and away before the final, and going through on the goal aggregate and it features all of the best teams in Europe. The fact that two Spanish teams have made it to the final really indicates that at the current time their football teams are the strongest in Europe and it is also obviously a big sign, ahead of the World Cup, to the prospects of the Spanish team. To be the club champions of the whole of Europe is obviously something to aspire to and I am looking forward to watching the game.

I always thought its quite confusing until you learn the rules of the game, once you understand how they play the game its actually fun to watch.

To play soccer you really need to know how to act. I don't watch much soccer anymore but I do support Barcelona...

Never been one for European football. I am, however, looking forward to the World Cup, rooting for Germany all the way. Hopefully they will make me proud this year, despite Spain having such good players.

I have no real interest in football. I cannot stand the way the players drop to the ground holding an ankle or shin putting on a dramatic performance as if they have been inflicted with a fatal death defying, career ending blow. And moments later running free as though he had a miraculous recovery. Its just pathetic to see and I get rather irritated when I have to witness such preposterousness.

I am beyond excited about the Champions League final, as I am every year. I was absolutely devastated when my team made it so far but then lost it to Atletico. Between the two teams, I am going to support Atletico Madrid. I think they have played really well thus far and deserve it. I do not really watch La Liga, the spanish league much, but I think this will be an exciting game!

Apart from the occasional World Cup game, I don't generally watch football. It is good to know, however, which teams are strong going into the upcoming World Cup.
