I love it when the weather starts warming up, because I have always preferred hot weather to cold, but I also hope the rain comes earlier this year. This really is the allergy season, and those of us who suffer from allergies can frequently be seen with weeping eyes, sniffles as well as sneezing. There is so much dirty air around on the Highveld at this time of the year and dust and pollen and it makes an absolute unpleasant combination for anybody who has any allergies. In recent years we’ve had to wait until about the middle of October for the rains, and I only hope that they come faster this year.

Definitely prefer summer, this warmer weather puts me in a good mood straight away. Everything is colourful & beautiful. No problem with allergies at all.

I definitely prefer the hot months but my itchy eyes and blocked nose started yesterday. I have pollen and dust allergies. Hopefully I won't get sick though. I always medicate myself when the symptoms start.
Spring time for me also means my birthday is coming up soon :)

I am a summer baby through and through! However, this time of year I can't live without nose spray for my allergies! Bring on the Summer Rains!!!

I dont suffer from any allergies so there is no problem for me and I LOVE summer time. You can dress nicer and look better overall, and most of the time you are happier. Cant wait until the rain starts and everything is green again.

I absolutely love summer so I am so happy to see the cold weather go. I do not suffer with allergies, although know many who do and hate this time of year. I also can't wait for the rains, there is nothing better than a Johannesburg thunderstorm.

everything is so dusty, the skin is so dry,it feels like we are in a desert. though i enjoy the fact there are no mosquitoes now and they will come with the rain.

I most definitely am a Summer person. feels like summer has just skipped over Spring and arrived early this year. Yes I would like the rain to come now so everything can become nice and green again.

Totally loving the summer, now its braai time and family swim days its awesome.. But agree the rain must come because my nose is just not happy with this summer yet.

I absolutely love the summer. Summer to me represents life, joy and happiness. There is just a whole other vibe in summer and i am very grateful that the winter disappeared so quickly.
However, I must admit that out summers have become extremely hot, but nothing a spray bottle and a fan cant fix.

It is going to be a hot summer is this is our spring. cannot wait for the rain, I luckily do not suffer from allergies, I just love the rain. However I would say my best season would be Autumn
