Jennifer Lawrence shows us that news moves quickly
The Hunger Games are back on, to huge grosses on its opening weekend and the movie has some lessons for us. I am not talking about what the movie is about, although dividing a final book into two movies can make things slow – just as you have seen with The Hobbit being divided into three movies, although it was just one book and whereas The Lord of the Rings was actually three books. We will only see the final episode of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay at around the same time next year, but it certainly does show you that the embarrassment Jennifer Lawrence suffered earlier this year is over.
I say earlier this year, but it was only a few weeks ago, and in today’s world you are the subject of a scandal today but as long as you hang on in there, in a few weeks the media moves to a new topic. There is only so much that they can sell out of your dramas – new photographs or embarrassment – and certainly, as we suspected, the pictures have had no influence on Jennifer Lawrence’s career at all or the movies in which she stars.

I loved the books, and I have really enjoyed Jennifer Lawrence in the role of Katniss. I don't think 'bad' publicity really exists. All publicity is good publicity. In your previous blog post you mentioned Marilyn Monroe and as an example of this.
I felt really bad for her when those photos came out but I don't think it hurt her at all.

My daughter read hunger games and says books are better than the movies, but i think it is always the case if you read the story before watching it.

I'm not really a fan of her or the Hunger Games but at least the drama is behind her.

#SipsTea To be honest I have already forgotten about her leaked pictures let alone what they looked like. If anything it just gave her attention. I enjoy Hunger Games and would not, not go watch it just because of something she did which was no one else business though.

I think it's a well done to Jennifer Lawrence, she stood strong and left all dramas behind and proceeded with her career

Would love to see the Hunger games, but I think Jennifer Lawrence is very natural actress and her first movie was great success. And if produces can get from the good book few money making movies with good stories in them - why not.

Just goes to show, media drama can only last for so long then moves on to the next big thing. And in most to almost all cases does not effect their careers in the lease, as seen here in Jennifer Lawrence's case.
Not only in celebrity lifestyles, but in normal people's lives as well, Drama only hangs around until the next big gossip story. You just have to stick it out and walk out with your head high, everyone else will then get over it.

The new movie is great. I think Jennifer Lawrence is an incredibly inspired woman with great drive and motivation, like I said in previous blog comment, people forget about scandal and it always becomes old news.

I have read all of the books and I must say that I found the final instalment to be quite disappointing. Maybe it is because I expected rainbows, ponies and sunshine.
To that end, the diabolically brilliant concept of the first two novels were marvellous. You have to have quite a wicked imagination to be able to come up with the idea of tossing a few minors into an arena to fight to the death.

I just love Jennifer Lawrence! She is so down to earth and seems to just take it in her stride. Pretty excited to go and see the new Hunger Games movie.
