iPhone 12

It has become quite a custom of mine to review the latest iPhone every year.  This is the iPhone edition that now works with 5G and of course 5G bears a far faster technology than 4G or LTE and allows you to download movies, e-mails and access applications faster than before.  To me however, what I have noticed is that this edition of the phone, and I have the Pro Max version with the 6.7 inch screen, has more battery life than the previous versions.  That is probably the most important thing for me, because there is nothing more frustrating than running out of battery during the day.  The camera also has a few notable improvements, and it is definitely one of those phones, where if you have missed last year’s edition, you might want to upgrade – because I think it is worth it for the new version – and as a camera it takes superb pics.

I've always been a fan of Apple - however it is just too expensive. The phone itself is already pricy and now on top of that you are required to buy the charger separately which is just daylight robbery at this point.

I love iphone, i will never go back to android. I am so happy with my phone, dont have a days trouble where when i had phones like samsung I always had a technical problem. iphone the only reason I upgrade now is not because it broke or something is wrong with it, its just purely to get a newer model.

I love the new colors and the fact that there is a mini one as well! I think it would be a really cool phone to have.

I have never had an i-Phone and do not think that I ever will. But, it is nice that they are always upgrading the way they do for i-Phone fans out there

iPhone 12 is very nice phone to have, but I would agree with most of the comments, this phone is very expensive, who would have just pay R 17000 cash or R 2200 on the contract. Very expensive phone!

There are a lot of iPhone lovers out there but I'm unfortunately not one of them. I have always had an android phone and will stick to it. iPhone has a lot of rules, I'm sure they are way more advanced and have better apps restriction etc. but I'm an android lover. Until the next iPhone come to light which is a constant competition that a person can not keep up with nor your bank account.

I have never been part of the iPhone craze and will probably also never be. The phone is just too expensive for me! It's a nice phone and all, but also agree not very user friendly. I have apple music on my Huawei so can't really see any reason why I would need an iPhone.

iPhone is really a great phone to have but they are currently extremely expensive and I actually feel that what you are paying per phone for a two year period is ridicules. I am starting to consider other brands on the market just because of the prices. Honestly making the phone does not cost as much as they are selling it for. At this rate they can add a 9ct gold trim around the Iphone to make it worth buying.

iPhones are great but my goodness they're expensive. The 12 is very expensive and I don't think any cool feature would justify the expense for me. I am very happy with my Huawei and if I accidently drop it/get it wet, it isn't the end of the world and won't bankrupt me.

It is definitely time for me to upgrade, my phone's battery life isn't what it used to be and I am a big fan of iPhone, cannot wait to try out a newer version of the cellphone and experience the latest technology. This phone definitely sounds like something anyone would enjoy to have.

I own an Iphone and personally I would recommend the Iphone to anyone because it is the best phone I have ever used in my life and yes I have used a Huawei before and for me it is also the best phone ever, by the looks of it Huawei is on a battle with Iphone and may the best one win

I don't really care about a new phone, as long as I can phone or text then I am more than happy. It's a money making story to keep on buying the newest brand on the market

I joined the apple train a few years ago and I don't regret it, I don't have an issue with Apple or Android, really is about personal preference. I like the look of iPhone more than the android ranges to be honest, that's the main reason for my switch. I still haven't used the phone to its fullest potential probably.

I have heard that the iPhones take amazing pictures, I guess if you are one who loves a good camera it could work for you also a longer battery life on any phone is needed as with so many apps running in the background it tends to kill the batteries faster. iPhones compatibility to me has always been its downfall.

This phone is very nice. I would not mind to get this phone. The applications are expensive though, but it's still a nice phone.

I wonder if the battery life is actually as great as it deems because every new phone you buy has a great battery life. Maybe after a month, the battery life will be terrible again, who knows. However, I am an Apple fan and would love it.

I'm not really in to technology, as long as I can do what I need to do on a phone I am happy. I don't get excited over new phones and the specs of it.

I honestly cannot comment on the iPhone, I don't own one. I do, however, think that any cell phone that has good battery life will be a seller because yes, to have to carry not only a phone but a power bank, etc just becomes an annoyance. I have better things to do with my time than have to charge plenty things just to stay in touch - good battery life will always get my vote, regardless of the phone.

I have never owned an Iphone and don't think I will buy one anytime soon. A lot of people I speak to don't really have good comments about it.

I had an apple phone for a very short period of time. The functionalities and set up on the phone is quite difficult to grasp and remember especially after you have always used an android. My daughter has an I-Phone and she loves it and it seems to work for her, but it doesn't definitely work for me.

I love Apple! The Iphone 12 is amazing, the picture quality and cameras are out of this world. My battery lasts a lot longer then my Iphone XR so I think Apple has improved on their battery life. I don't think I would change to any other brand unless something major has to happen with Apple.

Roxanne  said:

Sinead  said:

I've seen so many bad reviews about the iPhone 12. I've even read that people must rather wait for when the 13 arrives and get that one instead.
I wouldn't know if any of it is fact as I don't own an iPhone and probably never will but it's good to see how ever-advancing technology is...

Michelle B  said:

I just love Apple! But as you say it's so frustrating when you are running out of battery during the day and it seems as if it's a problem with an iPhone. I replaced my battery probably 3x in one year so I'm not sure if this one's battery will last. Think I should start using Android, because the battery lasts for days.

Bianca Niemann   said:

Apple really is outdoing themselves with technology. I still use Android though, and I have no complaints.

Marchinique  said:

I've never owned an iPhone. I do have an iPad, but to be honest, Apple would really not be my first choice, merely because of the fact that, not only the phone itself is expensive, but Apple music and so on, as well as iPhone's data usage - crazy!
I am an android lover and the only thing impressive about an iPhone for me, is its camera. :)
