A lot of people seem to be under the illusion that once you’ve had a Covid vaccine you are done and protected. The signs show otherwise – you need to get repeat vaccines and those booster shots typically give you 4 to 5 months of very good protection and after that it starts to wane. We are sure that pharmaceutical companies will come up with better vaccines that last longer as time goes by, but until they do I am going to continue to get my booster shots and additional vaccines when they are available to me. I feel one has to take care with one’s health and part of that is reducing one’s reaction to a dangerous disease by making sure, if one is exposed to it, that one’s body has the right amount of immunity added to it by the booster shots. I am getting the Pfizer booster shot, but if I had the choice I would get Moderna this time, because I very much like the whole mix and match principle and having the benefit of the different companies’ approach to vaccines.

I don't think I will get the booster shot. I'm so over Covid and all these inaccurate stats

The country did not meet the quota and now the vaccines are going to expire.
So they are trying to make us believe we need this booster but it's just to get rid of stock ='''D

I don't know if I'm interested in getting the booster or not - would need to research it a lot more. However currently I don't think I'd get it.

Life is too short but I don't think I will ever take the booster, besides it has too many
after affects

Not for me thank you. I agree with Patrick and Megan. I just don't see the point. Life needs to go on. I am over Covid and everything it brought with it.

I feel as though the whole purpose of getting the vaccine was to get 100% of South Africa jabbed and that didn't work out. Here we are walking amongst vaccinated and non vaccinated. Seems pointless to get the booster to be honest.

I hate having any form of medication and a serious fear of needles, so if I can avoid the booster shot I will as much as I can but if needed I will go for it but lets face it, Covid is going to become as common as the cold and we must just carry on with our lives

I agree with Patrick, that life needs to go on. I was not keen to get the shot in the first place either, so the thought of a booster shot does not appeal to me at all.

I am not in a hurry to get any of the booster shoots. I try practice caution now and hopefully this will pay off. I am not really crazy about drugs in my system, regardless of where they come from.

I suppose it's worth considering, not that I am thrilled about getting more shots.

I don't know if I am interested in taking booster shots but this could be due to the fact that I never experienced having covid so I might be taking things lightly.

I suppose. I wasn't keen on taking the vaccine so I would not be looking to take boosters.
