The iPhone 14 is going to be announced, as the new models usually are, at an Apple event in September. There are some rumours that only the Pro-version will have the upgraded A16 chip and that the other versions will have the A15 chip that the iPhone 13 has. The big news, and the reason I use it in any event each year, will be the improvements to the camera. There is a lot of talk that the next camera will be 48mp – which is a massive improvement. Again, there is some speculation that only the Pro-models will get a 48MP camera. Some people obviously take a “I don’t care” approach, but it is the most valuable company in the world and it has the most popular product in the world and from my perspective I am always interested to see what the next generation of phones will be like – and to find an excuse to upgrade once again. For those of you who do love Apple and have sat out for a year or two, the features like Cinematic Mode, which really enables fantastic video footage, and an increased camera size could definitely be reasons to upgrade later this year.

I can't imagine using any other brand. The last iphone I had was the XS (10) and it worked perfectly fine. Unfortunately, I dropped it earlier this year and then decided to upgrade to the 13 Promax because I wasn't going to fix the screen for R8000. It was about time I got a new phone anyway. Really do love the camera!

The new features always look so exciting, they just keep finding ways of improving whether it’s the operating system or the actual specs of the phone. Sometimes I think they should slow down it’s hard to keep up.

Every year there is a new one. They are constantly growing with technology. As they should be. Their target market will keep buying their products though. I'm not the target market.
I saw the news one day about a breach in their security or something and everyone had to update their software. I wonder what happened with that...

I never owned an I Phone & don’t think I will ever buy one It’s really not user friendly and cannot share anything with people with other devices.

I am more of an Android fan, my boy on the other hand would really like an iPhone, so may look into it, but only next year.

I don't find I-Phones to be user friendly. I used my daughter's old I-Phone and I struggled with it. My daughter is such a fan and she keeps checking out for the new I-Phones with the lovely price tags. Shame unfortunately her mom isn't rich.

I'm still in love with my Samsung and don't think I will ever try an iPhone as I heard some bad things about it and I always stick with what I know. But those features sound awesome but I will just wait until Samsung catches up and will also have those features

Still using Android - and I can't complain. I used to use Apple and enjoyed that as well, however, the constantly increasing price of the product is becoming ridiculous in my opinion which is why I just stick to Android.
