I am shocked to read, but I guess not surprised, that police bungling has caused some damage already to the case of the 5 joggers who were killed by Sibusiso Langa. A blood alcohol test to be valid it has to be taken within 2 hours of the incident, because otherwise the reading gets even higher, and one would think that after an accident where 5 people were killed, they would make sure that the tests were done within 2 hours.
In this case, apparently they were done 4 hours later and so that evidence would not be valid. It does not mean of course that they will not succeed on other aspects of the case, because however much the police have bundled the case, this is going to be a case which is very hard to answer, but it is still shocking that after 5 people are killed the Police cannot do the test in time allegedly because they were arguing about whose jurisdiction the accident fell under!

Speechless!!! I just cannot believe the justice system of this country... I do love my country, but it has just become much so disruptive and everything concerning "government" is corrupt. I just cannot understand why a job cannot be done quickly and efficiently... Its just laziness, carelessness and lack of interest of others.

To sort things like this out, the buck should stop at the top. Sue the Minister of Safety and Security. This ought to make sure that all the big wigs make sure their house is in order. When it starts hitting the pocket - that is when results are seen.

I have come to realise by working wih the various police stations on a day to day basis and also being in numerous conversations with how they just cannot do anything right, has become rediculous to me and plain disturbing!
They have no sense of urgency in any matter, disrespectfull and just plain lazy and the problem seems to be getting worse. I cant believe that such a serious matter like 5 peoples lifes lost! they can stand there and argue about whose jurisdiction the accident falls under!. if these are the type of people we turn to in crisis situations. it greatly bothers me.
I guess one can only hope for drastic change and may justice be served for those 5 lifes lost.!

Appalling is the only thing I can say. That guy shouild be locked up for the rest of his life. He has not only killed five people, but ruined five families! The police in this country are messed up and honestly something needs to change. I love this counrty, but really...!
