Lee Westwood dominates the Nedbank Challenge again

Lee Westwood’s game obviously suits Sun City. He is able to drive the ball far and fairly accurately, and stays out of the considerable trouble that you have at Sun City, when you hit a poor drive. He was already the favourite to win the tournament, before he set a course record on Saturday of 62, and quite frankly, he will be fairly good money to get whatever odds you could get now, probably 4 or 5 to 1 for him to win again next year.

I don’t ever think any player has had a hat trick of wins at this particular course, but such is his dominance at the moment when it comes to the Gary Player course at Sun City, and as long as he is in any reasonable form and by that I don’t even mean top form, I think he will go on to win again next year. One cannot underestimate the advantage distance gives you, and on hole after hole he came in from 30 or 40 metres closer than his playing partners, allowing him to hit wedges all day into the greens and put from considerably closer than his opposition was most of the time.

I also dont have any interest n golf at all, but Im sure it is quite exciting like Lucretia say's. If you as the player puts in everything into the game, at the end you will enjoy the benefits of hard labour

I did go through a phase of wanted to learn about golf, however, it is really not the kind of sport i have interest in.

I have seen that Lee Westwood is excellent at what he does in golf and by all means if you have a talent for a certain sport, career or trade you should use that talent to the best of your ability. which he does.

he deserves to be a winner.

I am not fond of golf at all. I dont like to watch it and cant imagine it being exciting. But I have heard a lot of good things about Lee Westwood, so it does sound like he deserved to win. Must be awesome feeling to win. None the less you wouldn't catch me dead watching golf!

I am not into golf at all and will agree on what you say regarding the players as you would clearly know more than me. I would believe it takes a lot of skill in order to play this game and it must be quite enjoyable going to a game.

I have only seen golf competitions on sports channels and that is quite remarkable to watch and to imagine how awesome it will be to actually be in the crowd of a competition, live. I thing Lee Westwood deserved to win, well done.

In answer to Bianca's statement, to watch a live golf game of this magnitude is remarkable. It is an experience of a life time and, if you go back again to the same course with the same players, you are guaranteed a totally different game. That is the beauty of golf.

This competition must be quite exciting to watch. I am not fond of golf and dont really follow the sport but I can imagine that the atmosphere is remarkable.
