The Beta version of the latest Windows will be arriving in February 2012, and of course, all computer users are going to be looking out for that. Apparently, Microsoft is also going to go the route of applications, and there is going to be what they call a “Windows Store”.
When you want to use applications on your computer, you will have to download them from the Windows Store which means Microsoft is going to control what you download. Similar to the applications you can buy for your iPhone, you would be able to buy applications for your computer via the Windows Store. Of course, it will probably take a lot longer before the new version of Windows will be available in its final, subsequent testing phase and for now it is only the IT wizards that will show much interest.
