Aspirin cuts down the risk of cancer

A recent survey, and they are few and far between, on aspirin, because of its lack of profitability given its low cost, indicates that it helps protect against cancer. People taking a low dosage of aspirin on a daily basis, as opposed to every two days, have shown to be at a considerably reduced risk of dying from cancer and also suffering from various types of cancers.

This appears to relate to aspirin’s ability to thin the blood which reduces the risks of strokes and also stops cancer spreading easily from one cell to another. It sounds like we should all be taking a low dosage of aspirin every day, although of course there are risks, especially for pregnant women and other people for whom aspirin sometimes causes stomach bleeding. The study included findings that after three years of daily aspirin use, the risk of developing cancer were reduced by almost 25% and after 5 years of daily aspirin use the risk of dying of cancer was reduced by 37%. Those are hugely impressive figures and a reduction of other cancers included by 46% in the case of prostate cancer.

I don't like pills. I do take them at times but I try to avoid them. Do yourselves a favour and and look up the side effects of all the pills you take. Rather try natural cures. You got nothing to lose by trying that.

Too much aspirin causes a person to bleed profusely when they tear the skin. And a person with high blood pressure is even worse off.

I tend to take aspirin only when I have headaches but I will definitely look into what is considered a safe daily 'preventative' dosage as cancer is pretty rife in my family.

Very interesting, I was aware of the difference that asprin can make to strokes however I had no clue about this. Very useful information and hopefully this info can benefit many of us.

I must say that this is a very interesting and impressive observation. Cancer has truelly become one of the worlds causes to such a high death rate. To some point cancer has become worse than Hiv/Aids. Lately all I have heard is how people have died of cancer of all parts of their bodies being affected by it.

lets hope a proper cure can be found soon!

Wow, the figures are impressive and if aspirin can reduce the risk of cancer and the risk of strokes I will say we must all take aspirin.

It is interresting. Lately I am hearing of so many people who have been diagnosed with some sort of cancer. For one my grandmother at the age of 87 was diagnosed a couple of months ago with cancer.
