With Mitt Romney now assured of the Republican candidacy, the fight between him and Barack Obama is beginning to revolve around the issues of the day.
The Republicans are going to try and make it about the economy saying that President Obama has done nothing to sort out the economy, which is a little bit unfair considering he took over a disastrous economy from the Republicans in the first place – in other words, many would argue that the economy is in a bad state and it is precisely because of Republican policies.
The first controversial step is that Barack Obama has now endorsed gay marriage, something that a Mormon like Mitt Romney is obviously not going to endorse. It is a high risk strategy, because it is going to lose Barack Obama a lot of conservative voters but then conservative voters were never going to give a man of an African heritage a chance in the first place. I certainly hope Obama goes on to win, but taking such a liberal approach may make it a lot more difficult for him.

I must say I like oboma and the way he has moved the USA forward, may not be that drastic but it has had some good changes. I think he is good at what he does and desrves to win.

I agree with Lucretia, he would have my vote. He is open minded and welcomes change, and accept all citizens. I think that it would be a close run, but hoping that Barack takes it again.

The people don't realise that he won't be able to please each and every citizen in that country.
And again approving the gay marriages has scored him votes in the next coming elections.

If the states don't want Barack Obama, please send him our way, it will still be politically correct to have him run our country and way better than what we may or may not have up for grabs at our next election. I have always found Obama to be a dynamic person and would love him to come to our shores, he would have my vote.

Neither candidate is perfect on every point. Obama the Democrat and Romney the Republican, have divergent views about the direction of America - one is progressive; the other is regressive.

40 % of Americans believe Barack Obama is related to Osama and that he is Muslim . Donald trump asked him to show his birth certificate , he thought he is born outside of USA . Think majority of them might not be quite bright to elect Barack for second term .

I absolutely agree with Obama's approach! My personal views are extremely liberal. At the end of the day its not about pleasing everyone it is about doing what is right!
