Trillion Dollar shares

I guess if I had to ask most of you which four American companies have a share valuation above a trillion Dollars most of you would guess them correctly.  What is quite interesting is that they also just come from two cities – two are from Seattle and two are from San Francisco.  The four companies that currently have a valuation of more than $1 trillion are Apple, Amazon, Alphabet (known to most of us as Google) and Microsoft.  Apple and Alphabet are based in San Francisco, although they do have offices in Seattle and Microsoft and Amazon are based in Seattle.

It is no surprise that these companies have a share value above R1 Trillion. These companies are well known and frequently used throughout the world.

This is a interesting read, as I did not know google is actually Alphabet, but I am not surprised that they hold shares with Trillion Dollar Shares as this is a really good investment but it takes hard work and determination to reach this point.

These are very well known companies so it is no shocker for the trillian dollar shares that they have. Hard work and dedication pays off for the future.

Interesting read. I'm sure you do not get that status by sitting and doing nothing. Those companies have worked very hard and endless hours to get to where they are.

Those four American Companies boost the most profits as millions of people are in constant use and purchase of apple products and not one person will deny using google and microsoft. It is indeed the fourth revolution with IT fields and development leading universal growth.

That is interesting we learn everyday and I must say everything that goes hand in hand with technology nowadays will grow every day.

And the interesting to note is that they all have to do with IT in some or the other way, being computer software, computer and mobile hardware or an online shop. Just goes to show how information technology has increased and improved in just a few years.

As Bernie would say, the 1% has all the wealth of the world. It's honestly unfathomable how such few companies are more valuable then I'm sure many countries.

I would have, perhaps, taken a stab and guessed at Apple and Google. What is great about these trillion dollar companies is that they thoroughly and vigorously employ and invest in people with innovation. Apple, for example have said "Appleā€™s most important resource, our soul, is our people"

It is understandable why these companies are where they are. I really wish I knew more about the stock market.
One would probably have a lot to gain by investing in these kinds of companies.

Its good to see that there are companies that have done so well. Hard work and dedication pays off, to think that everyone that started up these companies once had an idea and they were wondering if they would be able to make a success and I am sure they never expected to grow so much.

Its great when companies like these can motivate people to continue their dreams and focus on a broader picture and not to let anything hold them back and to become successful one day.

The richest people are founders of technology companies - I always say that a billionaire is sitting on so much resources that could literally help thousands maybe even millions of people - So I enjoy seeing which charities Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg etc are helping - recently Bill Gates put $138 million into charity which is quite amazing.

I was a little surprised that Amazon's founder Jeff Bezo's beat Bill Gates with being the richest man in the world as I personally do not use the tool and I dont know many people that do utilize amazon but basically everyone uses microsoft in some form or another. I also never knew that Google had another name called Alphabet.

The best kind of money is to trade around with the stock market and if it a bull the shares went up if it is a bear the shares go down. I read a little into it, but that is about all and the rest is general knowledge from friends

Apparently Tesla is a good company to buy shares in at the moment. The growth is very positive. The difficulty with shares is that you have to grin and bare the drops or know when to pull out. I think it requires constant monitoring and time to study the market trends.

America honestly keeps doing remarkable things, we as South Africans I think do not support small companies as much as we could because who knows? maybe one day we would have trillion dollar companies instead of needing to borrow that much all the time.

This is amazing and it shows how extremely well-run these companies are. With two of the companies based in the same cities, it also shows how competitive they are with each other. I also agree with Karien this is really a great "fun fact" to know, as I didn't know that Google is Alphabet.

I was shocked to find out the other day that the man who owns Amazon (Jeff Bezos) is now richer than Bill Gates by $7 billion dollars. I have always known Bill Gates to be the most wealthiest with all his Microsoft and computer technology, I guess people prefer to shop online rather these days. Online shopping has now become the best thing ever.

Rather interesting, unexpected, but it just shows you that no matter the area or background, anyone is capable of making a success if they truly want to. I know Microsoft started with a college drop-out in a garage. Thus, it really doesn't matter where or how you start, as long as you don't quit. Interesting and inspirational read
