End of the year energy

It is always noticeable, whether in the malls, or in the office, that there is always an energy at the end of the year. Sadly, it often goes with a bit of extra tension, with rising tempers and difficult clients. Staff members at many companies wait nervously to see whether or not they are getting bonuses, what the extent of the bonuses are and everybody seems to alternate from being in a particularly good mood to the opposite.

It is only a matter of days now before the whole of the country essentially shuts down and the vast majority of the work force goes on leave. It is also the time of the silly season, with all of the antics that take place at office parties and at staff get-togethers fuelled by summer and alcohol.

My wish for all of you is that you drive safely and spend this time with family and friends and enjoy yourselves.

Thank you kindly and the same to you..

I absolutely love the festive season, spending this time with family and friends and ofcourse the christmas lunch and presents.

I have to agree though that this is the time of the year where tempers rise and it becomes very noticeable. People just want to get all their important matters at work up to date, so they can have a relaxed holiday I would think. as i feel this way myself.

happy festive season all :-)

I loooooooove this time of the year, it's so awesome the christmas decorations, the children so happy and joyful. I love this time of the year because I am able to do stuff that I really like to do (eg. sleeping late LOL) But I really just love Christmas. It's good to relax and have time for yourself, I must say. That being said I hope everyone has a very merry christmas and a happy new year. Be blessed and be safe :-)

Love Brenda's comment - lol you definitely need a holiday after a holiday!

I think that everyone is extremely grateful for this time off - it is well deserved and it is bound to be epic.

I also agree with Alexis - I somehow wish that there was more time to do what needs to be done. But time is like toilet paper the closer to the end that you get the quicker it goes.

It is after all the season to be jolly :-)

I love this time of the year... Even the busy shopping malls, it just activates the excitement that at this time most of the world is so full of Joy.

Going on holiday never bothers me as I never go away during the December period as it is just a waste of time and money really. One always seems to need a holiday after a holiday, so i will rather take this time to just relax and be merry and not have to worry about anything.

I just think that being negative is totally a choice, and if you are going to let silly things get you down then you are responsible for your own unhappiness.

That being said.... Be Joyful Be Merry, Be Safe and Be Blessed! Have a good one ALL.

i had the miss fortune of having to go into town on saterday it is insane! it's bad enough most weekends but that was bad, i hate having to go most month ends, xmas parties to me are something that should be done away with it's an excuse for most to act like pigs because there attitude is it's for free there fore they will eat and drink as much as they can! i unfourtunatly had to cancell my holiday this year, because i have been given notice to move out of the property i have been renting so,now it's the expensive of having to move. enjoy every body!!

I am seriously getting old. I do not particularly like going away during summer holidays. It's just too busy, too crowdy, too expensive, traffic, accidents, drunkards.... - patience - or a lack of it - is the problem, I guess. I like to spend this time to shut down, relax, rest, read a bit (for you never seem to have time to read enough during the year). NO shopping! I don't sound negative, do I?

I cannot wait to switch off for a few days. Going to be amazing! This is also my favourite time of the year - I don't however like the busy shopping malls. It drives me insane.

There is so much to do before the year closes and I kind of wish I had more time. Though I do think that everybody is just tired right now and wish to have a bit of leave already to relax and in my case just sleep everyday :)

Everybody must have an awesome time off and be safe

This is my favourite time of year, busy busy shopping malls and those last few days to get all the work done so that your first few days are a little less stressful.

I have heard from a couple of friends that they will not be getting bonuses this year. It is sad, but the truth is you should always expect the worst in this regard and we should all appreciate the fact that we all have December leave!
